Drew is a graduate of Northern Arizona University in Civil Engineering. As a licensed Professional Engineer with a background in performing structural condition assessments, he takes pride in objectively investigating failures ranging from large commercial collapses to material defects of individual building components. He is a Certified Technician by the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) which allows Drew to access and evaluate portions of structures that are deemed inaccessible. He is also certified by the Building Envelope Science Institute (BESI) which provides him with the technical expertise to evaluate the building envelope for causes and sources of water infiltration. Drew was ecstatic to join the Golden Forensics team as they emphasized the use of cutting-edge technology to assist in detailed and in-depth analyses.

Drew has investigated a wide variety of failures including those from fire, hail, wind, water, vehicle impact, and structural and architectural design and detailing. His innate investigative nature allows him to perform unbiased evaluations so that he can find the facts, put the pieces together, and provide the evidence necessary to support his opinions and conclusions.
