Fire Investigator

Rick retired from the Poudre Fire Authority in 2005 where he served as the Assistant Fire Marshal – Investigations. Rick also served as Captain on the Hazardous Materials Response Unit and was involved in code interpretation and enforcement. Rick has over 10 years of experience conducting private fire investigations for insurance carriers, attorneys, and manufacturers.  His experience includes large-loss structure fires and he has coordinated the investigation of numerous fire scenes.

Rick is an IAAI-Certified Fire Investigator (CFI) and has personally investigated over 800 fires and supervised hundreds more. He lectures and teaches various topics and classes.
